Mr. Phillip Li – Geotechnical Engineer (member of Institute of Engineers Australia) Phil Li graduated from The University of Melbourne with a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with first class honours and a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce majoring in Finance. He has worked as a laboratory technician during university, later as a hydraulics engineer with consulting firm Gutteridge Haskens Davey (GHD) in Melbourne and in the Technical Projects and Technical Services (Tom Price Site) Teams with Rio Tinto Iron Ore in WA.

Some major projects Phil has been involved in include the pre-feasibility study and EPCM work on the Sugarloaf Pipeline in Victoria in 2008-2010 and the Victorian Desalination Plant. In mining, Phil was responsible for the pre-feasibility study and feasibility study of two major iron ore mines in the Pilbara and numerous reconciliation projects across several mine sites.

Phil is also very familiar with engineering softwares including Vulcan, Leapfrog, Rocscience Suites (Roclab, Dips, Slide, Phase 2 Swedge etc), Solidworks 3D, Space Gass, Trimble 4D Strand 7 and Matlab. Phil Li is also a member of the Institute of Engineers Australia and is in the process of working towards his Chartered Status.
